First Fair of Regions of Colombia
First Fair of Regions of Colombia
On April 25th, the Bilingualism as a Friend of Tourism program held its first Fair of Regions, showcasing the outcomes of the first-term project: Our Territory as a Tourist Destination.
On that day, students from grades 1002, 1005, and 1105 presented the main characteristics and traditions of the Amazonian and Eje Cafetero regions.
The BFT program carried out this fair, highlighting aspects related to tourism in these regions of Colombia. Students provided recommendations on tourist attractions, shared practical information for travelers, suggested local dishes, fairs, and festivals, and described the most representative aspects of the local culture.
Participants explored and discovered the richness of these two regions, as our BFT students showcased their skills in communicating in a second language.
