Halloween - (Pedagogical Guide) Primary, secondary and middle school
Do you love Halloween?
Is your Halloween costume ready?
Let´s talk about it...
Halloween takes place on October 31st. It is a time when people around the globe dress up in costumes, go trick-or-treating, and carve jack-o’-lanterns from hollowed out pumpkins. Ghosts and witches are popular costumes of the children who go from house to house saying, “Trick-or-treat!” The treat is usually candy. The origins of Halloween date back to several ancient festivals held in the autumn.

In Colombia, Halloween is known as Children’s day. Kids and their families go out with fabulous and creative costumes, asking for candies and people of all ages have a great time. Also, at schools, teachers and principals organize a special day to celebrate. Students decorate their classrooms with spiders, webs, witches and ghosts and prepare food festivals, dances and theatre plays. Let’s enjoy Halloween and have fun with your costume.
